It's been way too long since I updated this, but tons of things have happened in the lab in the last year and a half! There are so many updates that I'll just list them briefly, but it's been very exciting!

New members
Ted Litberg and Sara Volz joined the lab as postdoctoral fellows!
Adun Obisesan joined the lab as a DGP Ph.D. student!
Ridhima Manocha, Qian Wang, and Karla Yao joined the lab as Masters in Biotechnology researchers!
Carlos Lazo and Jessica Wang joined the lab as an undergraduate lab aides!

Departures
Jane Thibeault left the lab to become Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Roger Williams University!
Yulia Gutierrez graduated from Northwestern and joined the UCSF Biophysics PhD program!
Pranav Doradla graduated from Northwestern and joined the DelRosso lab at UCSF as a Junior Specialist!

Awards
Andra Campbell was awarded a very prestigious National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate Fellowship!
Tanu Priya was awarded the Julius Kahn award to a distinguished graduate student in the Pharmacology department! Congratulations Tanu!
Sara Volz was awarded a Center for Synthetic Biology Postdoctoral Fellowship!
Vasili Kalas was awarded a research grant from Northwestern's Digestive Health Foundation!
Gabe was honored with the Young Scientist Plenary Keynote award at PEGS!

Sara Volz gave talks at the Gibbs Conference for Biothermodynamics and the Midwest Folding Meeting!
Gabe organized RosettaCon 2024 with 300 attendees!
Gabe and Tanu attended the Rosetta Nobel Prize celebration in Stockholm honoring David Baker!

Papers
After many years of work, Állan preprinted our first work on large-scale investigations of protein energy landscapes: Large-scale discovery, analysis, and design of protein energy landscapes
Yulia Gutierrez preprinted her independent research Structural and energetic analysis of stabilizing indel mutations, the lab's first paper written by an undergraduate researcher!! Congratulations Yulia!

We celebrated the lab's 5th anniversary in March 2024 and 6th anniversary in 2025!
